Caratini was the DH and he moved to C when Contreras was tossed. So the Cubs lost the DH ability and the pitcher moves into Contreras' spot in the lineup.

Ross bet correctly that Hendricks would be ready to be taken out by the time he came up. If Contreras had been tossed after his first AB, Phegley would have come in to catch.

Have seen a lot of strange pitching stances from the young guys this year. Must be all the prescription drugs their parents pumped into them as children.
