there are 3-4 different styles of hat in that picture. Which one are you referencing?

The painter's hat was incredibly popular for brief period of time. I thought they were cool but were so flimsy they weren't worth buying. They were popular give away items at the stadiums.

I assumed he was talking about the propped up hat to show off the bangs.

The brim titled up so the front of your hair shows. And often times the front of the hair was gelled up.

Typical 80's overdoing it. Wanted to wear a hat and show off the mane.

i have like 15 hats, i can't remember at what point i stopped wearing them. I'll wear my 80's Sox one once in awhile, but honestly i feel like an idiot wearing any hat now. Isn't there some age limit ? I think once you're in your 40's people probably assume you're just doing it to cover something up

I wear a baseball cap pretty regularly. I am covering nothing up but a head of hair PANTHER once said he was jealous of.

You wear NBA jerseys, Baygs!

i wear a hat while golfing or any really sunny-hot day, but generally no.

I did rock the spiked hair hat thing in the mid-late 80s that RPB referenced.

Had a Bulls one from the early Jordan years and I think a Sox one too courtesy of DeKalb family night.

I’m a hat guy. More accurately a ball cap guy,and probably have dozens. I’ve hit the time of year where I need to go through all the tractors and collect them because picking are getting slim on the “work” Haag supply. I am However covering something, my bald cranium.

I was an avid brim-flipper in my younger days. I also wore cowboy hats. A lot.

I'd always laughed at what Stern used to call those. Especially on the country musicians.

Never wore a hat like that. I’m guessing I have about 25 hats, most of them are Titleist ones in different colors. I wear a hat almost everyday I’m not at work. Not losing my hair or anything just always been that way. I golf a lot so I have an unattractive hat tan line so that is part of the reason to keep wearing one. On vacation I have a couple of slimline visors. Only time I wear a visor.
