The baseball field was behind the football field and the story is that he hit one that landed in the middle of the football field. No one else has even got it to the football field much less onto it.

I believe it. I think he had four rooftop homers at Comiskey, which ties a record.

Guys today can hit golf balls as far as Kitty could, but it's the equipment. (And more golfers lift now.) Only person I saw hit the ball longer at the course I caddied at was Freddy Couples.

Nah. I met the guy a couple of times in Florida at a place he would hang out in while there. Nice regular guy. Was a legend there. BIG MAN and had huge hands. I wish that he would have taken Bonds apart when Bonds dissed him back then for his charity. Methinks that there would not be too many guys that could have matched him for just raw strength.
