That's a good message for all the young girls out there.

I'm with ya, Frankie T. I'm glad my wife and daughter aren't interested in either of them or this genre in general.
The song had great production and the video must've had a huge budget, but at the end of the day, if you try to spit shine a turd,
expect to taste some shit. Yuck.

Listened to Heart yesterday when working on my canes in the garage. What a voice their lead singer had/has. Neighbors think I am crazy as I blast my music in the middle of the day. Fun stuff.

Beatles - Do You Want To Know A Secret

Every once in a while you learn something that blows your mind.

I've listened to this song probably thousands of times. Never, ever, not once, did I think it was George Harrison singing...until I read it today.

Wow

Fantastic live album, I love "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out" on there and the way "It's Hard to Be a Saint in the City" flies. Wish it had "The Fever" on it, though.

This also has one of my favorite versions of Backstreets, and I love the sparse start to Thunder Road.

Never was a big "Backstreets" fan, but I agree on the more subdued "Thunder Road" here. "Lost in the Flood" is as good as always but it's hard to beat the studio take there.

Backstreets and Jungleland are generally acquired tastes...I love both. Right now, I'm in the middle of Kitty's Back...this is a great version...you can hear just how damn good the E Street Band was at that point.

I've heard *of Cymbals Eat Guitars, but I haven't heard any of their music, but apparently this is their main guy's new band.
I am obsessed with this song. If you like Superchunk, you'll most likely dig this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JKXrDH4Vl0

through my underground network I managed to get a hold of the forthcoming Hoops album "Halo" that was shelved after they got cancelled.
It's amazing , which makes me sad it will never see the light of day , at least as far as the public is concerned. I can't imagine writing an entire albums worth of songs, recording it, starting to promote it- then just throw all of it in the trash and break up

Never saw Joe and the Mescalleros either, unfortunately.

Whodathunk he'd die at 50.
