This is not a two-way street. You cannot tout the Cubs "success" and lament the White Sox "failures", while simultaneously calling the MLB season a failure. It simply does not work that way. Either the entire season is a failure, or the successes or shortcomings of all teams are what they are. You cannot have it both ways.
