Finally got around to seeing this. One of the rarer and hard-to-find films there is for its quality.

Supremely fucked-up film, maybe the most fucked up film there is. Its pretty jarring to see an American film that features names like Philip Seymour Hoffman, Lara Flynn Boyle and Dylan Baker to go the places this film does.

Either way I loved it. I'm sure many of you have seen it, curious about your thoughts.

Saw Happiness in the theater back in school. Enjoyed its juvenile dark humor at the time.

Mid-90's uncomfortable shock cinema with a dollop of humor to make it more palatable (Kids, Gummo, Happiness)

Happiness was more a challenging American Beauty. Without American Beauty's budget + gratuitous, horror-film-jump shock/gross-out scenes, e.g., 'Snowball' the dog.

I've still never seen Happiness, but I drop random lines from Gummo outta nowhere sometimes.

"It smell like wetba*k dick'.
'It smell like a pile of bullshit'.

Kids - Telly was the worst.
