All of us here knew those "offers" were bullshit. What was it? Seven offers at first and he narrowed it down to 4. North said one of them was for big money. There were never any offers at any time.

I predicted 2 years ago that no other station in town would ever employ this idiot.

I had this debate with somebody on this board. What about Pappy and his advertisors? People said, on this board, that the Score couldn't afford to lose him cuz of that. Some said he'd get another job cuz he'd bring those sponsors to his new station. It was bullshit to think that and it's been proven.

Every show can get sponsors. That has been an overrated thing about Pappy. Every show can get sponsors and the rates depend on the ratings. It's that simple.

wow...it just isn't good enough that the guy got canned - now some people seem to really enjoy that the guy doesnt have a job, and monitor it on a daily basis. what's the reason for that again? oh yeah, now i remember: you didn't like his radio show. now it makes sense.

Grave dancing on the end of an asshole's craeer is fun. If you don't like it, don't read it. Mike's a dick and got exactly what he deserved--UNEMPLOYMENT.

He constantly ranted about others being overpaid(while not looking in a mirror), accused people of being on drugs(with no proof) and slammed other stations and personalities. Now, he has no friends, little f'ng surprise.

His only background is being a loud mouthed bigot, little wonder the dick isn't in demand. Hard to feel sorry for a pompous ass who turned down 800k, because he wanted a mil. F him, good riddance.

i am getting really sick of the people on this board whose only comments are "don't you have anything else to talk about besides north " If people want to post their opinion on north, why do some, ie Mr. Reason, feel the need to bitch and whine about it ? If you don't like it, don't click on the subject. the reason people don't like north is that he turned from a somewhat regular guy to a raving ego maniac who blames his demise on everybody except himself.

don't people remember nort threating to sue board members because they actually quoted what nort said on the air ? and then nort wouldn't play the tape or i'm sorry, the station can't play it because it is missing just based on this i would not shed a tear if he lost everything he has and has to go out and get a real job.

I think we're all interested in how it plays out because of the person involved. It's great pyschoanalysis. Look at the guy. he digs a grave for himself every time he opens his mouth.

It's a great WHAT NOT TO DO example, ie. burning bridges, making false allegations about others, etc........

carry on with several more weeks, or months, of mike north job hunt updates, if thats your thing. perhaps even several more threads on the topic are in order. im just glad to hear sports again in the AM.
