Although North use to shit on Gleason every chance he got, in retrospect, he did a good job when he was at the Score. But I know that Gleason hates North with a passion since North use to make RACIST remarks about Gleason marrying an Asian woman. He even made some stupid racist remarks about Gleason's kids being of mixed race. Gleason was the upmost professional and never lost it or suspended that moron. Got to give him credit for that. Anyone else, some dipshit makes fun of their wife or kids, they would have their ass on the ground in a flash.

Ron hasn't necessarily left the Chicago market, fans. During Bears' season, Ron is somehow doing the Bears' pre, halftime & postgame shows on Newsradio 780 WBBM & the Chicago Bears Radio Network. We don't hear him as much, because I believe Ron is in management at the 40 year-old all-news station.

And people actually wonder why so many seem to be taking pleasure in North's recent troubles.

North used to rip both Gleason & Riles for marrying "chinamen."

North and Harvey Wells can have all the blame in the world for ending the "Monsters..." show, but Gleason is the one dismantled the other lineups... namely, the HFC. Ron Gleason is a complete idiot.

I always thought Riles was good at filling in. I would have had him over Holmes. Wasn't Riles one of the originals there at the score, or at least from the 820 days?

Your guess is as good as mine concerning where Jerry Riles is now. I remember "The SCORE" started at 820 AM, and Riles was one of the sports talker's original producers..."From sunrise to sunset," as Gleason said as both the Program Director & station announcer.

yes, Riles was and is better than Holms...perhaps with Nort gone he should re-apply...

Hey what happened to that Greek guy who was buds with North and then fell out? Sumtrus was it? Anyway, the dude did the most horrible impressions but he actually thought they were good. He even got a morning gig I remember and hogged the show (I think it was with Van Lier and Buffone) and even started calling it the Sumtris show or something like that.

Then North threw him under the bus and I dont know what ever became of him. Any update?

Over the years, Mac mas made it very clear that Gleason broke up the HFC... if you know otherwise, I'd love to hear it... as would others.

I don't know about his Mike Tyson one, but his other ones were just horrible, but he kept doing them since North always use to tell him they were great. What is he up to these days? And anyone remember the details on what happened where north got him kicked off the score?
