Bryant is a shell of himself. Baez has still not evolved into a complete hitter. Rizzo looks like his back issues are not going away. Contrares has no idea how to approach an AB. Swarbs looks like he should be playing in a softball beer league and not on a MLB team.

Have to play twins, indians, white sox down the stretch here. they'll all be battling for playoff positioning .

Also the brewers and have 2 more vs the cards.

Even if they make the playoffs, they are not going to win anything. Just false hope. We will always have 2016 but this core group is done.

ya i don't see them beating anyone in the first round if they get there. their bullpen is total shit and they are not clutch offensively and you have to be clutch in the playoffs.

I boycotted last night because I was tired, pissed off at the defensive miscues, and wasn't willing to watch Colin Rea get his brains bashed in. And if it wasn't for Happ they would have been shut out in Game 1.

No ESPN mothership for me so no mlb.tv tonight. I may listen to the audio stream instead, but I will probably watch the featured holes stream from Atlanta on delay on ESPN+.

I plan on watching on Monday after grilling.

The best thing for this team would be to end up as the 3 deed so they could host the Marlins or the Phillies in the first round, and hope that the Reds beat the Braves in the 2-7 matchup.
