I'm getting really concerned about the health of our pitching staff over-all right now. Way too many guys, ouchy, both starters and relievers. We've got some guys who should be coming off of IR and no one knows how good or dependable they are going to be and we have others just added to the IR or are day to day.

This is the reason that I think both Cordero and See Shack are being used so much, namely they are afraid to use the younger guys because they are afraid they'll get hurt. This staff all of a sudden has way too many question marks at a time where they need to be planning on who they can count on in the play-offs.

All I know is that when you see a guy that is Mazara's size and strength and is a good pull hitter have as many at bats as he has had and not hitting one homerun and most of his hits being directed to left field, I say that something is wrong with him physically. And I had read reports that he had the virus as did Moncada. Moncada has stopped being a long ball threat this season and has looked tired most of the year.
