Agreed and it makes the story compelling but the Larussos are so duplicitous. However, the daughter has no redeeming qualities. She's horrible to everyone.

Sam dumped Kyler because he was bullying Hawk and Demetri. She also realized she had mistreated Aisha and tried to make amends with her.

That said, I agree with the idea the the Sam and Daniel are the villains in this story.

She dumped him because he tried to force her to give him a bj in a crowded movie theater. If you accept that she is evil you realize she is working Aisha to strengthen Kobra Kai knowing it triggers her father.

She wanted no part of him after the library incident. Of course, their romance begs the question why she was even attracted to him in the first place. From one perspective, she can certainly be seen as a ruthless social climber. In this regard, her attempt to mend fences with Aisha is motivated purely by self-interest, since she has no clear social network following the tumult with Miguel and Yasmin.

In the future, I see KREESE recruiting Kyler and his clique into the new Cobra Kai while Miguel and Robby will become the top students as the fused Lawrence/Larusso studio.

I just realized that Tory and Ali have the same last name: Schwarber.

Within the show's logic, this will likely mean Tory is Ali's dispossessed stepdaughter.

Seems like an unnecessary plot twist is on the horizon.

The writers really need to implement the Miyagi-Do/Cobra Kai synthesis so Johnny and Daniel can lead their students in battle against a resurgent KREESE.

The actor who plays Johnny Lawrence, too bad his career never did anything after Karate Kid.

He's a very good actor and stole this series. Also, he's a very likable guy. I can't put my finger on it, but I would be a fan of this in whatever he decides to do next. He has a certain charisma that every guy can relate to.

And the kid who plays Diaz, I hope that kid's career takes off. That kid is great this entire series. He turned me into a fan and i'm interested in what he will do next or has been doing.

Rob Garrison, who played Tommy in the original movie, came back to play a terminally ill Tommy in a Cobra Kai episode. He actually gets zipped up in a body bag to end the episode.

Garrison actually was terminally ill and died from kidney and liver issues last September 27th, less than a year after filming.
