I am all for aggressive play but if a coach is giving you the stop sign and you decide you are going to give him the middle finger and do what you want to do there needs to be consequences. I understand that today’s players are different and what was done 10/20/30 years ago might not have been the best way to handle things. I hope that however they handled it everyone on the teams knows that shit won’t be tolerated - much. This is a young team and if some of them start to think they can do what they want when they want there could be trouble ahead.

The Sox need to have McCann and Grandal in the line-up every day. I'd sit EE and call up Mercedes or Collins for the bench so you have an emergency catcher since you don't want to lose the DH spot if the catcher gets hurt.
