Anyone ever watch this show on History channel? I've been watching for the past month or so and I'm not even that much into blades/weapons/etc., but the show is really interesting. They show marathons on Wednesday which is why I am posting this now, but not so good for readers of the thread, so I'll try to remember to bump it at the start of next Wednesday.

It's on my Hulu list. Will get to it eventually.

My kids love this show, especially the parts where the judges test the blades. The destruction and implied violence really appeals to them.

They are also big fans of another History Channel show, Ancient Aliens, which appears to exist only so it can undermine realistic and credible historical narratives by replacing them with the most outlandish and absurd historical interpretations possible. Thanks History Channel!

I catch this show every once in a while. But I'm often fascinated watching craftsmen working. It seems to me that I can pick up a little something watching people exercise skills I generally don't have. Oddly enough, I often skip them slicing up the ballistic dummies.

Yeah, I like the parts where they are heating, hammering and grinding--the blades, that is.

yeah but the other guys are the same way. The only guy that isn't is the guy that was a contestant. He just isn't interesting though.
