Don't know. I've never experienced torture nor did I have a father and a grandfather who were big shots in the Navy. All I know is that I doubt that I would have been taken alive given where I was and what I did. I hated the mother fuckers I was fighting and am pretty sure I would have been killed and not taken alive. If I were taken alive, my platoon would have been all wiped out in all probability.
