But when Hawk continually insults others in the most hurtful way he can muster, then I personally do not believe that he leaves much reason for himself to complain.
I don't insult anyone who doesn't attack me first. I can argue with anyone without malice. But that is not what happens here typically. Not when a few posters constantly attack conservative posters here with the most vile accusations imaginable. Crest allows this shit to happen to me but when I respond in kind, I'm always the bad guy and in his view of things I don't "treat other people the way I would like to be treated".
As for the stupid comment that "continually insults others in the most hurtful way he can muster", that is a joke. Truth is that I would love to meet some of the assholes on this board who insult me. I guarantee that no one would say this kind of shit to me to my face. Insulting my service, calling me a coward, calling me mentally incompetent, saying that I lied about my disability, my education, that I am somehow a racist, a homophobe, a xenophobe, etc, etc is a favorite sport by assholes on this board that Crest allows to do their worst and then yells at me for hitting them back.
Tell me something, Crest. Have you ever known a disabled combat veteran in your life? Someone who actually fought in a war and was honored for his service? IF so, do you think that calling him a coward, a babykiller, a fool for serving, lying about his medals, etc. would piss that guy off? What would you think about someone who called him those kind of things? I've been attacked almost immediately on this board, YOUR BOARD, almost immediately after joining it. And all you did was refuse to moderate it as you should have. Instead you picked off a compliment that I gave to a Bear's football player(Khalil Mack) and made it into an attack on my being a RACIST and then selectively edited and deleted posts which I attempted to explain and defend myself.
You have pretty much called me a pussy for complaining about these attacks about my service and my alleged "racism". Who in the hell do you think that you are to define me as such? Think that makes you right? You said that my military service comes down to merely doing a job that I was "PAID FOR" ? That is your attitude of what being a soldier, sailor, Marine, or airman is all about? A paycheck? Listen, Crest, though you demean the people that serve with such a lame opinion, the people that do serve do not get anywhere the compensation that they deserve moneywise and respect wise. To be brutally honest, I have no need or want for your personal respect. Now, let's get back to your latest attempt for sympathy.
My father was a veteran of the Korean War. My uncle survived the Bataan Death March. Another uncle carried Hirohito out to sign the treaty with McArthur. Hope that clears up any questions for you.
What none of them ever did once in my presence was to seek sympathy for their service. It was their duty, they did it, and were proud to have done so. They never once played "poor me" like you so often do here.
Just because ltg is a windbag, doesn't make it OK, or any less bigoted, when you say he got into college because he was black. No matter what they taught you growing up in Hegewisch.
And if you actually think that comparing a black man to a guerilla is a compliment, I'm at a loss for any response to that.
But it's time to buck up buttercup. Stick the sports sections on the board for the next two weeks. No one here wants watch you keep re-playing the same broken record about how offended you are, while you act like the most offensive person on the board regularly.
