Lester
Hendricks
Mills

Hopefully Mills pitches well again. Lester never would have made it through a 162 this season. He really is struggling to finish a 60 game season.

They are talking about the 2001 World Series right now. You know who could add insight to that series. Mark Grace. Wonder what he is doing right now. It's too bad he is not on Marquee's staff....Oh wait

6 six shutout innings from Lester and one from Kimbrel  . Too bad it is still 0-0 heading into the 8th.

I am seeing lots of crying about the strikezone. Tough shit. Get the god damn bats of your shoulders and swing. Vlad Guerrero would have hit the shit out of every one of those pitches. This walk first mentality these guys have been forced to use is just awful.

That is so weird that he can not slide. He always goes in awkward and gets hurt.

Switched on the Sox game and Eloy hit a HR. Turn on the Cubs game and Cubs had 1 hit. None of these bums deserve a huge contract.

pet peeve but i didnt like that heyward didnt attempt a throw on the sac fly. you never know what will happen if you throw home. maybe it panics the runner, the runner trips, etc... but he just gave up.

but most of this team is like that. like last night, contreras hit a shallow outfield pop which was dropped but he was only on first. if he had hustled he should have been on 2nd easily.

Because he was 385 feet from home and still drifting back when he caught it....most MLB OF don’t even attempt to catch that ball in that spot. He did his pitcher a (small) favor for his ERA, that’s it.

More important question:
Why didn’t Ross walk Braun?? Almost inexcusable.

uh... the runner would have had to die. even if he tripped and had a compound fracture he could have crawled across home plate in time.

Exactly...especially since he put six people in the infield. Why make a tag required? Unless he didn't want to put pressure on Jeffress not to walk a guy.

Check out game 5 of the 1983 World Series, eighth inning, with Joe Morgan the runner at third at 2:00:40.

I feel like the Cubs game could've gone the other way if they had a certain missing piece playing LF for them...

If only there was a player who could turn the tables after you're no-hit into the 6th inning.

That might actually sting if we didn't have the best line-up 1-9 in the league and weren't leading in most offensive categories.

I guess we could use him as a back-up behind our reigning and soon to repeat batting champ.

7 - 11 vs teams at or above .500.

For the sake of White Sox fans, hopefully this goes better than your Covid Exponential death claims and how Arkansas has everything under control in terms of Covid.

Cubs scoreless last 12 inn. hope we can pull this one out this time.

Marquee having the blonde gal show souvinerr from the 1938 WS. It's pretty bad. She can't even pronouce the players names right.

Phil CAVE-E-LETTO? CAVE - A - LETTI? kasper told her how to pronounce it.

pretty uncomfortable. Kasper making her look bad. asked if there is a MLB logo on the ball. she looked pissed and stuck the ball into the camera to show the NL logo.

real bad shit here marquee. marquee next on the cancel list.

Shwarber's twin Vogelback on the brewers. At least schwab dropped a lot of weight.

bryant doing his best eloy. dove right into the netting overboard into the stands.

brewers up 2-0 bruan 2 run dinger.

game over - cubs not scoring tonight again.

makes bryant pay for not catching that 3rd out in foul territory.

Pretty cool showing all that Cubs memorabilia.
