It was a mess yesterday.
Turn down the fake crowd noise. An NFL game isn't constant noise that drowns out the announcers so its not like it reflects reality. Baseball has done a great job of having a nice, ambient murmur allowing the analysts to lead. The college football I watched also seemed good. Fox has been bad since the beginning of their getting sports coverage in overdoing the fake noise. They seem to have jumped in with both feet now that they have a reason to do it.
The game clock takes no primacy in what people are watching. Why is it smack dab in the middle of the screen taking up space. However, if you are going to elevate its necessity, could you at least make sure it is accurate? They were out of synch with the actual clock far too often yesterday.
Additionally, their stats were incorrect and poorly synched most of the day as well.
Also didn't help that the ref mic was broken most of the day and the announcers didn't compensate but overemphasizing the penalty calls.
It was poorly produced from beginning to end. They seem unprepared except for the crowd noise, which was a detriment to the enjoyment of the game.
The game clock being in blinking yellow numbers was distracting. The new graphics are not a plus.
