Guy cutting the tree was yelling at the assistant with a rope on the tree. That guy needed a crew on multiple ropes to pull that clear. Should have taken it down in chunks from the top. My tree that got taken down next to my house was at least that tall and that’s what they did.

after the duracho or whatever its called, i'm assuign half the jabroni's knocking on my door or leaving a flyer in my mailbox (i had 2 black walnuts come down) had 0 insurance.

i've cut down 10 smaller walnuts less than foot in diameter and have been able to drop each one exactly where i wanted them to go by myself. i assume he knows what he's doign but something went wrong.

I had to remove a tree bigger than that a couple of months ago. I live in a high wind area in the Fall and it was big enough where if it blew over it could take out the pool fence or the building where I keep some cars. I just hooked a tow strap to my 3500 and had my kid put it in drive as I notched it and it fell right where I wanted. I had more room to work with than that guy though.

In a neighborhood setting, you have to either use a lift to get up in the tree or hire a climber and start at the top.

Those little tree climber dudes with the lightweight chainsaws are indispensable. This guy was a moron and deserves whatever he gets.
