He's fine there for the most part. The issue is you have a roster spot for a guy to pinch run and play defense. In a tight game against your biggest rival with the division on the line, why is Eloy out there?

What has Mazara done for Ricky that he should be automatically penciled into the lineup every night? It's not an optimal situation but I would go with Engle in at least a platoon.

How can you not? Someone at soxtalk estimated he will be making 6 million next year after arbitration. It's kind of like Yolmer last year.

The change of scenery doesn't appear to be the answer for Mazara. They gave up a decent prospect, but who knows how that will play out. He's not a long-term solution. They're going to have to figure out RF in free agency.
