In fairness, their cheapness hasn't been the issue in over a decade. Look how much they gave to Mack right after trading for him. They ponied up a ton to sign Peppers in free agency (good), a bunch to sign Jared Allen (bad), gave the go-ahead to trade for a top 10-15 WR at the time (Marshall) and authorized a game-changing trade to land Cutler. Now a bunch of those moves didn't pan out, but that has more to do with the Packers and Rodgers than it does with the McCaskeys' ownership, imo.

People keep saying he's a top ten WR, but I just don't see it. It's the MVP argument...most valuable in the league or most valuable to the team. If it's the latter, he's definitely worth it to give this offense any sense of respectability.
