I've always liked Nas' music but bought his new cd the other day and am damn impressed. It's well written, well produced, and surprisingly good. Anyone else listen to this one yet?

10 Years. I loved their first disk and have been waiting patiently for this one. It didn't disappoint. Not sure if anyone has heard of these guys but they're good for a listen at least.

G-Unit Haven't listened too much yet but it's fun to listen to as always.

He went back to his illmatic days with this one. I think this is his best album since Stillmatic.

I'll take it on your recommendation that this is good. I've been a little disappointed with Nas after "Hip Hop Is Dead." I'll check this one out though because I'm still a big fan. "Illmatic", "It Was Written" and "Street's Disciple" are still my favorites though.

Kanye makes good beats but his rhyming is bubble-gum. You should definitely try out Nas. Start at the beginning with 1994's "Illmatic" album and work your way forward.

I wouldn't recommend 1999's "Nastradamus" album, 2002's "God's Son" album, or 2006's "Hip Hop Is Dead." Everything else is good shit though. In particular, check out "It Was Written" from 1996...classic album.

I am by no means a rap expert, but I had a friend who was, and he played Nas'
"Undying Love" for me once, still one of the most chilling rap songs I've ever heard.

I didn't really like "It Was Written", Kid. Maybe I was expecting too much after "Illmatic". I do agree that you should completely avoid the the other listed albums. "Stillmatic" was tight. The new one seems alright from what I've heard.
