Definite top 5. Their era was so loaded, though, I'd slot them in as second:

1. Midnight Express
2. Road Warriors
3. Tully and Arn
4. Ole and Arn
5. Rock and Roll Express

Too bad they were a mess by the time they got to WWF. They were easily better than everyone on the roster, tag team wise, at that point. I would have loved to see them work with the Hart Foundation or a healthy British Bulldogs.

I'm honestly surprised he made it to the age of 60. RIP, though. Road Warriors ftw in early 90s wrestling games.

The Sheepherders were great when they were psychotic heels in Mid-South/NWA/WCW.

The Bushwackers were just annoying.

Agree. They were at their best as the Sheepherders.

I grew up on Mid-South wrestling out of Tennessee, it was unreal the Superstars of wrestling that came thru there.

Back in about 1985 or so a friend of mine would dress up like the Rock N Roll Express and go chase down our little brothers and beat them up. Good times.

I remember North having them on, and after North asked his first question, Hawk said, "you sound like a drinker."

Yeah I would have road warriors as 1 by a wide margin. But there were a ton of great teams then. R&R and midnight twonof greatest as well.

Sad to see animal gone. :(

Agreed. Also: I feel like the Fabulous Freebirds were better than both 4 & 5 on the list above.
