The pitching staff has been good this year with several arms performing well out of the bullpen. That said if Don Cooper gets to be pitching coach for life how were the last 12 years allowed? Was that only because of the offense?

Raw Deal Ricky has had years to consider in game decisions as he sat back with zero expectations.

Will never forget that Crede walkoff HR to beat Cle.. Almost 15 years ago to the day.

With respect to this year's Sox, they're going to have a daunting 1st round matchup, regardless. They either win the division and likely play Cle (2-seed vs 7-seed), or drop the division to Minny and play NYY (4-seed vs 5-seed). Personally Cle is scarier to me because of their SP, and the fact that Sox are 2-6 against em. But NYY has that BP and theyve been red hot recently.

They're not gonna get the 3-seed, though. They either lose enough games to allow Minny to take the division and finish as a 4, or finish up strongly enough to hold on to the division and keep the 2-seed. Oak is 0.5 games back of the Sox, has nothing to play for - would you rather play Cle in the first round or the hated Astros? - and still has 2 more games against LAD.
