Tim Anderson is king of the bat flips. Yet his team got pissy when someone else did that bullshit. Tim also choked to a sub .100 average during most important stretch of games in his career. If he didn’t run his mouth all the time it wouldn’t be as irritating.

Eh, I don’t think it was some overarching sea change in terms of how the Sox view bat flips.

They were getting shit pumped, the guy threw his bat 20 ft in the air and a couple of them were salty. Why there’s so much angst from the cubby side over a guy getting a glancing shot to the back makes no sense.

It was, and I think they hit him at least 2 ABs later at like 7-0.
