We all have. Mine was Gills "Won't go flat". Literally a place on 47th street that used to sell their own brew in half or full gallon returnable glass bottles. Some guys I grew up with still cling to the bottles they've kept over thirty years.

And I wish I had one.

I have many fond memories of Drinking Gills. Strangely potent stuff.

Tito’s.

That was a social distancing nightmare. Lack of masks. People crammed at every table. Tents outside jammed with people.

Nobody ever wanted to be that close to me back when I wanted them to be.

Good to know about Costco.

I will say The Bandit and I have been out quite a few times to restaurants in the past few months. But, this really was a different level.

When they offered outside tent seating, I assumed that meant they were trying to spread people like I've seen in other places we've been.

But, no, they were just doubling-down on business.

It was still good. Always relaxing to spend some time with The Bandit and have some chicken giardiniera.

well, I did not have the bushmill's on friday. I got a call on the bat phone and went out for a little. That is normally a beer situation but I was geared up for the whiskey and so ordered some Basil Hayden's. 1.5 in and I started talking shit about people so I had one more and called it a night. My wife told me "you can't do that in open, people love him/her" (gender withheld to protect the uninnocent). I'm in a bit of mood lately where I want to clast some neighborhood icons and see where it leads so I make no apologies.

My wife's friend had something like 6 free bottles of wine at everyone's favorite, Coopers Hawk, so she went out with the group for an all day (and night) event. All parenting was on me all day. That freaking bottle wouldn't stop calling me so I decided to break into it later in the evening. My youngest saw me pouring and when I sat down, he turned to me, patted me on the leg and said "women, am I right". I could have spilled my glass from the laughter.

Is it just me or is that Joe Montana story weird?

Like there is something about this we don't know.

Randall Cunnigham was ahead of his time. With the offense designs these days, he would have been unstoppable and he was already great.

Nah. Moon was great and spent most of his best years in Canada.

But, Cunningham was a different skill set. I see Mahomes and I think about Cunningham. Mahomes is a better passer but I'd be interested to see what RC could do.

Had moon spent his career in the nfl we'd be saying he was the GOAT.

I had to quit again last week, this time for good. I can barely get a cup of ice water around here, (fluid restriction), but I go home tomorrow, and will have an ice cold Reeds Extra Ginger to celebrate seeing my daughter for the first time in over a week. (No visitors under 18, not even your own kids) allowed.

What's going on, sd?

Just 26 years of rarely taking my foot off the gas has caught up to me.
I have liver problems and ascites, which is fluid that builds up in your paritoneal cavity because the liver isn't functioning the way it should be. I had 6 liters of fluid drained out my belly this morning so hopefully after an AM blood test, I can finally go home tomorrow after 8 days. Dpctpr is gonna ret and get me on the transplant list, but I'm gonna need more than 8 days clean. But I'm hopeful and optimistic Thanks for asking.
