Glad Chipper helped Heyward with his swing. Career .261 BA and has hit 20 HR’s once since his 2012 season. You’d think a 6’5” guy would have a basement of HR’s in the mid 20’s. Thanks Chipper.

And I’ve been watching since the early 90s.

Fire another hitting coach.

Trade 3/4 of the team.

Install video monitors in the dugout.

I think the players are executing the front office’s plan of taking pitches and trying to work walks, but these great saber guys can’t figure out that letting good pitches go by and hitting into the shift is a recipe for low batting averages.

that philosophy is so 2015. teams/guys now don't work counts. they get a pitch to hit they swing. that's what the winning teams are doing these days. Cubs are 5 years behind.
