It's complete b.s. that the local governments are not giving people breaks on their property taxes during these COVID months/years. They should be cut in half.

Municipal governments are so bloated. They pay enormous amounts of money just to swap street lights with candescent bulbs to the LED bulbs, like hundreds of thousands of dollars. WTF for? I hate the LED bulbs anyway on the street lights. What about what they pay for new police cars all the time? Completely ridiculous.

If people are forced to cut their budgets, then so should the local governments, too, right now.

Maybe this thread should be moved. Doesn't seem right in the R.I.P. section, though I understand the joke about it. Maybe put it in a finance section? There seems to be a lot of interest in the topic of markets and economics.

With no stimulus you will see this market crash worse than 2008.
