Let's just stack these terrible things up right here....

EVH's music was good, but not timeless. It's sort of trapped in the synthesizer era. Amazingly, they found a better vocalist in Sammy Haggar and would go on to make their best albums with him. In college I used to play "Dreams" over and over.

Sweet dreams to EVH for his gift of music to the world.

He's not alone in his Jimmy Page thoughts. Doesn't make it right, but he has company.

The ACL take....oh, that was a good one

According to this article and interview from Eddie himself he was pretty enamored with Clapton and not really anyone else.

He wasn't gay. He fantasized about a relationship with the neighbor woman.

Yeah he did, but he was also pretty gay. He definitely had something going with that midget.

I’d say that‘s a draw at worst.

Rube was convinced only NFC north record decided who won the division. Then continued to double down when multiple people told him he was wrong.

Although it is impressive/a testament to the Van Halen bros that they could swap out lead vocalists at the height of their popularity and extend the productive career of the band for a few albums. Post-DLR VH's output was probably better than what the band might've produced had they continued on with Roth in the band. But it doesn't eclipse their pre-1984 records.

You can criticize Justin Fields for many things...(supposed) lack of work ethic, pocket presence, why did 10 other teams in the NFL pass on this once upon a time 2nd overall pick?

But Dignified Rube is choosing to die on the island of "Justin Fields has a weak arm"

Rube liking the Bears "+4" yesterday.

This is old Tom Brady. I think the Bears will figure out how to get to him.

I'm the only one to take the Bears? Many took the Bears. $20 --- big deal.

Yes, I was fooled into thinking that this team could compete against the Bucs and stupid to think that Fields was progressing after he cut the GB lead to three last week. No way did I think the Bears defense would fall apart. Besides that, I hate Brady.

My only NFL wager this year. I'll be more careful next time.
