I don't like Kelly, but I give him credit for keeping them relevant top 10ish. You can argue that ND should always be relevant, but that's not how college football works anymore. Now, there should never be seasons they end up 4-8 like 2016, but if they end up in the 1-3 loss range, fine.

Book is a poor man’s Mitch (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky so nobody’s ever really out of the game against them.

ND’s D is solid though, so absent a major book meltdown, this should be a good enough lead.
