He will love the bat flips and celebrations when the Sox do it, but the first time they lose 4 out of 5 and the opposition does it to them the next batter is going down. That's his thing, he looks for any excuse to galvanize his team and that's why he is a HOF manager. The 'SCR guys of course will be aghast when it happens and hearing them lose their shit on air is an added benefit.

the wsox already did this hypocrisy this past season vs the cubs when Contreras flipped his bat.

I used to play wiffle ball as a kid and there was one guy who would always flip the bat after he hit a HR against me. I would get pissed and throw one at his head the next pitch. Not the same effect with a plastic ball, but it made for some fun charging of the mount moments.

I say, let the kids play and have some fun.

We'd do the same thing playing strikeout. Unless we were playing with a rubber coated, and NOT rubber ball. If you hit a guy in his hind parts with a rubber ball, we could all laugh.
