Also love the point Aikmen brought up during the broadcast regarding everything about the Bears offense being slow and taking too much time and guys just wondering in and out of plays -that’s Nagy. That’s coaching. There is no hustle or tempo to this offense and it’s a big part of the problem.


Get 30 yards on a big pass play? Don’t keep the momentum going by getting up to the line and getting off another play. No, huddle up, waste time, and pull the player who just made the big play off the field.. just flat out dumb football. Nagy is a terrible play caller and overall coach. Even Andy Reid had to make excuses for him after he ran a dominant Chiefs offense into the ground with stupidity.

"Be You" makes me sick to my stomach every time I hear that stupid saying. Why would he not let Foles call plays when the helmet mic went out? Foles looked like a dumbass running to the sidelines between those plays.

Bears almost got lucky again with the Kmet fumble being ruled forward progress.

Bears defense drop way too many INT's to be called elite.

The defense is the least of this teams problems.

Why is Hub Arkush so invested in Mitch? Both of the Bears QB's suck. Going back to Mitch isn't going to make any difference.

Hub has become almost laughable over the past few weeks, he has always gone out of his way to defend Bears management, but his defense of Nagy sounds silly. I know he has to stay on the teams good side in order to receive full access, but he's lost all credibility lately and makes me yearn for the days he was still pissed off for being launched from the team broadcast crew.

That's like saying Caleb Hanie was better than Cade McNown

after the delay of game debacle and some of the other impotent offensive drives, nagy should've put mitch in. it was clear that foles was not going to inspire their offense to do anything. mitch at least has the athleticism to keep a defense on their toes. and with the woeful saints defense, mitch probably could've made some big plays (as he's done in 4th quarters a lot in his career).

nagy's arrogance and stubbornness is going to cost him his job pretty soon. even aikman and buck were implying that mitch should've been brought in.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky and Foles have proven to be capable NFL quarterbacks though probably right on the edge of being a below average starter or a top backup.

Put the best quarterback in and let them both go next year.

I loved Aikman's honesty about the ineptitude of both Nagy and Foles.

Foles is supposed to be the smart, unflappable veteran who has seen it all. Instead, he makes a lot of stupid mistakes and plays with an arrogance that is not commensurate to his abilities. He bitched about Nagy calling plays for which he would not have the time to execute. He had time this week. That dickhead just holds the ball forever.

I didn't realize that Foles was completely immobile. Even Qb's like Brady, Peyton or Marino who weren't scramblers could move in the pocket, take a step up or to the side and buy an extra half second to complete a pass. Foles plays like he has cement shoes. On one play and I think Aikman mentioned it, Foles could have stepped up in the pocket, instead he threw of his back foot.

I don't know if that's immobility or a Mitch like tendency to stare down intended targets.

Although he doesn't hold a candle to Mitch in terms of frequency on that.

I would have been happy with winning one of these three games against the Rams, Saints and Titans. We can still do that with the Titans, who are, themselves, hurting.

I liked what I saw yesterday from the OL and RB. I even thought Nagy had a good game plan. His in game was not good but they looked like they had a plan going in. Could have had that game. Even a tie would have been fine.

They could have had the game, I agree, but the Saints defense is at best mediocre. Probably made the Bears offense look better than it actually is.

I think Aikman had it right when he said that everyone looks tentative on offense. That would include the RB and TE's. I did think the OL did better but I think Montgomery is shell shocked at this point.
