Now it sounds like the Wisconsin Covids are about to just shut down the football program for the rest of the season, interesting that MANY teams have been able to handle this and keep playing. The Covids just couldn't get that done.

I talked to 2 players about that (both transferred):

One is a LB/family friend from Lincoln-Way who never got on the field. He claimed every transfer hated the new atmosphere and staff, ad that's why everynody is leaving.
The other is Tommy Mister from St Rita. He left because SXU gave him the opportunity to play QB, which he wasn't going to get at NIU behind the 6th yr QB. He was more positive about Hammock and the staff, but couldn't pass up the chance at SXU.

The RB Harbison that transferred to Charlotte was legit good, not sure why he left.

Tommy Mister was out of time. This is year 7 out of college as his last high school football season was fall 2013. NAIA has no age/time restrictions. If you have eligibility left you can play.

Carey was bad but not sure Hammock will fix things. Time will tell.
