My 2 favorite OG memories:

1. Mike trying to kick over a plant in the lobby after he got his ass fired for missing an update.

2. Whenever they brought in someone new, and that person got the update shift Mike wanted, the OG wouldn't talk to guy for months, but would talk plenty of shit about the guy behind his back. One guy who passed up OG (and there have been plenty) is currently a very successful radio personality in the market. You might hear him do an inning of Cubs baseball from time to time.
Andy Masur was an update guy with Sporting News Radio-might have been One on One Sports at the time. He's definitely climbed up the radio pecking order compared to doing updates every 20 minutes with his work with the Cubs on WGN.[/quote

Mike it must be hard to take, you are the self proclaimed Cubs expert and one of your fellow update guys is working on the Cubs Broadcast, while you do the Sports Bar on Waukegan radio.

Sounds to me like OG's personality flaws outweigh his talent.
Does the name Doug Russell ring a bell to you OG. You talked so much shit about that guy behind his back it was sick. And he has 100 times the talent! Where are you gonna go after MVP Mike? I hear the Score wouldn't touch you with a 10 foot poll.
Okay, now that OG/Goldie/OG is ok/whatever the hell other names he was posting under, is no longer here to defend himself and prolong this thread, can we let it die in peace?

By all means, if it makes your day go by quicker, feel free to continue. Just seems the fun is gone without Goldie/Ogulnick constantly refuting everthing that’s said.

Then again, I was a younger brother, not an older one, so I guess I don’t have a frame of reference here. Just thought I’d throw it out there on a dreary Thursday morning. And despite losing OG’s contributions to the board, it’s nice to have the fucking spam gone.

Those who took the "under" walk up to the window with your tickets ready to collect.

I will miss all of OG's personalities on the board, especially the "California girl" who listened to OG on the net. That was a good one OG. Please register and continue to tell us how your star is rising, in Wisconsin or Waukegan. Just remember,

With the OG's horrible people skills, he would be a perfect candidate for a Chicago BlackHawk pr job.

So why is everybody so down on OG? Is it because the Bulls aren't that great, or what?

Haven't you heard? We're just jealous of him because he has a job broadcasting in a major market and we don't.

Has anyone done a study on the affects of radio waves carrying OG's voice on the human brain or on the enviroment itself? Maybe smog is just the visible crap coming from his mouth.

99.5% of the posts are negative! The other .5% were written by OG and his wife.

So what's next for OG after the Bulls season wraps up? Anything on the horizon?

I read on the espn1000 website that OG has two kids. I hope for their sakes Mike seriously considers a career change after WMVP lets him go. Can't raise a family on Waukegan basketball.

Now I love the OG as much as the next guy but I hope and pray that the OG did not write that bio because it just makes him look like a tool. Why would he write something that makes him look like a tool?

Who else would possibly write that bio? Just think, if Mike didn't like the bio, he would of had it changed. Clearly, that was an OG creation. Oh boy.

Oh, he wrote it alright. Ya see, OG has absolutely no idea how he is perceived by others. Why else would he humiliate himself by posting on this board? I'm sure his work hasn't improved much since the wiffle ball days.

That is the easiest question in the world to answer--HE IS A TOOL.
