Dabo's built a machine down there. I thought this would be a two- or three-year thing. It's really amazing what he's done. Clemson has had a more-than-solid football program, but nothing like this. If you asked me to choose between Saban and Dabo when building a program, I'd probably go with Dabo.

Venables could be a head coach almost anywhere, too. I thought he'd end up at his alma mater, K-State, last year. Obviously, the guy knows what he is doing. Clemson reminds me of their rival Florida State in the late 90s/early 2000s when they had great offenses but also great defenses. I can't remember FSU's defensive coordinator's name, but he was a big, mean dude who put together great defenses.

I can tell you right now that he is blowing a shitload of smoke up your ass. OSU had no problem playing Indiana just last week, and they are much more of a threat.

Cincy prolly stays at 7 unless A&M loses.
