Clemson up 31-0 against Pitt..... In the first quarter!!!

Dabo's built a machine down there. I thought this would be a two- or three-year thing. It's really amazing what he's done. Clemson has had a more-than-solid football program, but nothing like this. If you asked me to choose between Saban and Dabo when building a program, I'd probably go with Dabo.

NU needed that score....

Agreed I’d probably lean Dabo as well.

Also, I have to give credit to Venables on the defensive side getting the best out of those 5 stars they are recruiting every year.

It is a powerhouse program in every sense of the word.

Venables could be a head coach almost anywhere, too. I thought he'd end up at his alma mater, K-State, last year. Obviously, the guy knows what he is doing. Clemson reminds me of their rival Florida State in the late 90s/early 2000s when they had great offenses but also great defenses. I can't remember FSU's defensive coordinator's name, but he was a big, mean dude who put together great defenses.

I can tell you right now that he is blowing a shitload of smoke up your ass. OSU had no problem playing Indiana just last week, and they are much more of a threat.

Bingo! That guy scared me. Had some great defenses.

History! A kick off that went 30 yards and would have gone out of bounds had the Mizzou player not fielded it.

I'm not hating on her, but the reaction out there is something else.

To be fair most of the replies on Twitter and IG are calling out how bad the kick was.

I concede she has more defenders on Twitter, but the ESPN IG page was full of laughing emojis earlier today.

It looked like a squib kick was the call, and she executed it so good for her. But they don't call a squib kick to start the second half with a competent kicker.

You do have to wonder if they called the squib so there was no chance she'd have to try to make a tackle.

Christ, NU....

This is so Fitz. Lose highly winnable games to ruin what could be an almost-great season.

That fumble by McGowan changed the game for NU.

Such a shame.

I can't really complain because NU was so bad for so long (Fitz usually has a winning season), and I recognize that he doesn't always get the athletes that the SEC gets, but it's frustrating.

So NU is out of the playoff picture.

You have to think OSU drops a spot or two because they didn’t play this week.

UF is moving up, and so is TX A&M if they win.

Cincy prolly stays at 7 unless A&M loses.

Agreed, but I shudder to think what Alabama, OSU or Clemson would do to NU.

I'm right there with ya, buddy. I guess the dream is to somehow get to a playoff and then use that to steal some size and (especially) speed.

OSU plays stupid under this coach, so they might have a chance.

You’d think she turned water into wine judging by the reaction . Whitlock as usual with the correct take .
