How far back would you go for the era, considering QB protection and pass-happy offenses? Just wondering if Rodgers has had the same or more opportunity to pad stats with being in the league longer than Mahomes.

Irrelevant when talking about QB rating. That’s not a counting stat and Mahomes time in the league has been inarguably easier on QBs than Rodgers.

But, it’s ultimately a moot point. Brady has a titanic lead on the next closest competitor. I’d be surprised if Brady still isn’t the GOAT in 2050

That's not what I'm asking. With the rule changes and the shift in the league (for what, 3-5 years?), you would think that Rodgers would have been able to blow up his stats. Still think he's one of the best QBs in the league, first ballot HoF, but I don't remember him throwing up yards and TD numbers like Mahomes. I think its less about era/rules and more about the lack of supporting staff and McCarthy.
