Correct. It’s funny vegan made this thread when this game is just further evidence in the long log of evidence that Mitch > Foles

This GB defense blows.. Mitch is not better than Foles. Nust like he's not better than Several other QBs you've said..your Mitch comparisons suck.

You said Foles would be good this year. Don’t make me pull quotes tomorrow while sober. You forfeited your opinion on this debate

Mitch is still better than Foles

I thought the line would be better.. I've seen nothing that says Mitch is better. Foles would be killing it in Indianapolis.

Foles had been passable at best the majority of his career. Actually, he hasn’t even been passable.

There are other things that dictate how a QB plays - which is what we’re discussing.

And no this doesn’t go in the think tank just because you got your ass handed to you lol. It’s a sports discussion which belongs on the main page.

So you have nothing. Foles is bad but he is better than Mitch. Mitch is not a NFL QB or back-up QB. Foles is at least a competent back-up.
You are the one trying to argue against a fact. Mitch is better than Foles. They both suck, but Mitch sucks less. Fact. Done.

If he is better there has to be something you can point out that he does better. Just wondering what that is. I haven’t seen one thing other than running that he can do better. To me that isn’t a great attribute for QB.

The dumbass here is the one who still wants to talk up a dude who's turned the ball over three times, one of which was returned for a score, and handed the defense short fields to defend because he can't generate shit. Try better.

Every QB has turnovers. You wanted to judge Mitch vs Foles in PPG. Now you don’t. Why?

Yeah. Isn't it amazing how much better the offensive line was in this game too?

Virtually every statistic when comparing their play with the Bears gives the advantage to (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is a better passer and is mobile.

We crossed our fingers and hoped that fluke Super Bowl Run Foles showed up but he is gone.

Yes, the line gave him plenty of time to hit GB safeties and cornerbacks in stride. Good point.

Please tell me you aren't playing the "throws too many interceptions" card for (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky vs. Foles.

In the next game, (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky could throw one touchdown and three interceptions and have the same td/int as Foles.

Not playing any card. It was an awful, indefensible performance. You should be able to admit that.

I was wrong on Foles. But I'm right on (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky.

He didn't play well. Let him walk after this year and find someone new and hopefully better.

How can that be? Do you believe anyone is arguing that (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is great?

What is the point of this thread?

I gave up last week.

I've never participated in the Foles v. Mitch because they both stink. I'm not going to argue over how many turds can fit on the head of a needle.

Dan Wiederer on with C & J. J asks "why won't Mitch run more?" DW during his rewatch counted one play Mitch's legs made a difference. Good stuff.

It must also have been a coincidence we ran for 132 yards in that game and our 4 best rushing performances of the year by a wide margin came when (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky was starting.

But Foles throws for 230 ypg, Mitch 160. Better rb production under Mitch could be a plus. DW point was no productive Mitch's running, rolling out, scrambling.

It helps when the second carry of the game goes for 57 yards.

But Foles wasn't throwing for more yards either.

It happened in all his starts. Maybe a fluke but it's a pretty massive difference.
