That’s pretty good

He wore a cape. That's tough to top.

Indeed it is.

I'm 55, so defined as 1981 or before.

Sports: Ali. Worldwide, he may be the answer for my entire lifetime, sports or otherwise.

Hollywierd: Burt Reynolds or Robert Redford, most likely.

For me, Jordan. Not really a second place.

On my radar in the acting category would be guys like Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler...not exactly cream of the crop.

Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra on the more coming-of-age side.

A little older than you, but absolutely Ali. Nobody else was close. Locally, eventually Payton, before that Butkus.

Entertainment: Carson. He made so many careers.

Ima send you $10 for this post.

Evel was up there....I know for a fact I said his name every day during the summer of '77, when I learned to ride a bike and took that third-hand banana-seated disaster off some sweet jumps. It was kind of an event when he jumped them sharks. I got caught praying for him, and everyone laughed at me, but it worked.

He had a great pictorial in the Guinness Book of World Records, too. Wish it were in color, though, so we could see that red, white, and blue.

I wonder if them two fat dudes on motorcycles are still alive?

I lost five $1 dollar bets on Ali-Frazier at MSG in 1971. I was devastated.

Michael Jordan and Mike Tyson for sports.

Michael Jackson for music

Had to be Sly or Arnold for movies

I was thinking team sports before. But it was definitely Ali.
