I watched the first 5 episodes of season 1 last night. I realize that the core of the show doesn’t begin til season 3-4 and then picks up steam again many seasons later but fuck it. I got time on my hands.

It's very good. If you like guy humor mixed in with hot chicks, blood, and monsters, this is the show for you. Jensen is also a great actor.

Yeah. I noticed immediately the obvious placement of just knock out chicks. Like damn. It was a clear objective to litter the cast with as many babes as possible. And I’m cool with it.

So no "Carry On" montage to start the final episode? Were they saying goodbye on the same bridge that Rick blew up in the Walking Dead?

seeing as how it was used during a later montage in the episode, i think they decided to forego that this time.

this reminds me how much i disliked the Demon Jack period...didn't work for me.

once S15 was put on hiatus, and then came back, somehow it got a ton better.

the finale is probably going to split fans, as i'm seeing on reddit & social media. i really didn't think it was as bad as some people thought, or as "emotional" as others did. it was decent. it had some nice moments. but the worst thing, ever, was sam's wig. i mean, come on. was party city really your only alternative?

That reveal was long rumored, but still really cool to see for the first time IMO.

"All in the Family" is a top 5 episode for me; the redemption of Metatron, the mini-showdown Sam & co. have with Amara, the conversations between Chuck and Dean all made for a great episode.

Jensen's acting during his questioning of why Chuck allowed all the wars to occur was outstanding; he did a great job of showing the pain/grief/disappointment of Chuck's refusal to interject in conflicts.

Just an outstanding episode.

S11 finale would have been a perfect series finale (except for Dean seeing his mom) if they had chosen to end it there. Wraps up everything (can't top helping God!) and leaves a little to the imagination.

Finally finished it up.

Really enjoyable overall.

Last season was shaky, but I still enjoyed the end.

When I watched the finale the first time, I was angry. I didn't feel like it was needed.

I liked it more the second time.

Amazon selling the series on Blu-ray for $290; being released on May 21.

Favorite episode of s12 so far- "The Memory Remains"; great writing and acting.

TNT has been working through S7 on their morning SN rerun schedule.

My first time through this season I really didn’t like it, but I’ve come to really appreciate the blend of campiness and dark themes that came to define the show the last ten years after the initial 5 season arc.

Some really great episodes.

Outstanding list WZ!!!

While reading it I was like, “Man I hope he talks about French Mistake,” then I saw where you had it ranked, and I was very happy.

I need to hurry up my rewatch (I’m in s12), so I can see Scoobynatural again.

You were right that episode really drives home, and satirizes so MANY great themes of Supernatural in a very effective way.

I had forgotten the emotional pull of “Abandon All Hope”.

“Time After Time” is just a really cool episode too.

The Loki character got a little over done towards the end of his run, but he was part of a few classic episodes like the one you have ranked. Also, I’m sure you know the actor has been directing a few episodes each season for a while.

Great stuff man.

Thanks for taking the time to make the list.

Just watched this episode for the first time; outstanding, definite top ten episode of the series. I would be hitting on Daphne just like Dean was.
