I had to Google locker plants. The first three things cited were in rural Indiana

I would of said at the meat packer plant but I’d hate to give the wrong impression.
We meet at the Tony Spilotro burial ground each summer.

With the ghost of Floyd Kalber providing cover?

It'd be nice if John Drummond joined us next year.

I was supposed to meet him about four years ago there at the Sportsman's Tent. Then came the deluge. If you are going, seriously lemme know.

Russ dealt with the living. John specialized in the recently whacked.

But Russ sure seemed like a hell of a dude.

When I was 10 years old I knocked on his door while trick or treating for Halloween. He owned a townhouse in South Commons back in the day. He came to the door and I told him that he looked like Russ Ewing and he said "I believe that I am Russ Ewing". Old Russ did seem like a cool dude.

Back in the days where celebrities actually lived in and were a part of the neighborhood

Ali was always around. Theus would shoot ball with us in the alley between his two girlfriends apartments.

I am going to do my best to play in JORR's golf outing next year.

And Sandwich Fair, I'll go. Been holing up in our Sandwich office so much during Covid I feel like a local.

Absolutely. We go most every year. For some reason my daughter loves these kinds of fairs. I do too I guess. Maybe that explains it.

It's been a while but I always had a good time meeting up.

I have seen board members unintentionally, in their natural habitats before.

so we had for a time over here in the quad cities a fishing forum. looked basically like this. it was horribly run and it was basically full of old people who just learned how to work a computer. For that reason alone it was hilarious to see guys posting on this.

So after a few years, they want to have get together. We do. They are all introducing themselves by their names on the forum which is fine but after a few minutes you start to realize they are all still addressing each other by their screen names.

I was recognized based off of some pictures that were posted here and there and I was called "aych-enn-dee" the entire day (was an ice fishing get together)

so stupid. and now having typed all that out sounds like the gayest thing on the planet

Not as gay as shakes and doug having a doggie playdate.

I have only met Telegram Sam IRL. and only because he was captive to his restaurant.

I was supposed to meet JORR at a Sox game, and may well have stood next to him on the concourse, but I wasn't sure just how to address him: "Hey Johr" or "Hello Joe" or "Hi, Rod".

If there was a mass gathering again and I had the opportunity to attend, I would think it would be proper to refer to each person by their handle/screen name. Except Frank.

When we used to do this 10-15 years ago at remotes, Sox games, bowling outings, Bulls game outings, board member music shows, etc...

we'd address each other by board name. it was much easier to remember that and a face...as opposed to a board name, avatar, face, and name....

I only know that Frank's name is Frank bc his board name is Frank. :P

I call Boyd...Boyd. I call Darkside, Darko. I call Lipid...Lipid. These are people I actually know.

I am hoping to visit Telegram Sam's emporium of properly cooked meats when I am flying into O'Hare MLK weekend.

Also, I met some of you at a sports bar to watch a Bears game, although I had to leave at halftime. Denis, Don Tiny, and Dr. Ken for sure. There were some others but I don't know who.
