He was the coach at UIC while I was there. Really nice man. Always a smile on his face.

Once again, I agree with Doug. Collins had a few decent teams, too, but could never get any real momentum going. Good man, though. One of his players was flunking the first class I ever taught as a grad student, and he had me come over to meet with him and the player.
