I don't agree with that take. It's a pretty interesting show. I'm not sure if it's a dark comedy or a murder mystery or what exactly it is. I'm not sure I've seen anything like it. But one thing for sure, the Cassie character isn't someone that anyone is going to "YASSS QUEEN!"

I’m only 5 episodes deep, so maybe this changes, but...

The core personality trait of the main character is her desire/willingness to get hammered every night and fuck as many people as possibly. This is viewed as glamorous by all her female/gay friends. Every straight male is ancillary at best and those with dialogue are either morons or exist to compliment the main character. The brother is gay. The best friend - who similarly fucks anything that moves - is also gay.

There was a monologue about how the white male FBI agent only succeeds because of his race, in contrast to the intelligent, hardworking black female FBI agent. The white guy agrees this is true.

It seems to be the stereotype of what critics point to as a lack of representation for certain groups, just flipped on its head. I’ll still watch it and it’s well-made and well cast, it just feels like a lifetime movie crossed with a bravo show.

similar to penny dreadful: city of angels, a series i watched on showtime. just like most primetime network dramas. one day carmela soprano was married to a mob boss. the next day, she is a lesbian with a black daughter and the police chief of los angeles. hahahahaha.

hollywood wails about lack of diversity. writers are lilly-white - they write dialogue for blacks and latinos and asians and the dialogue is absurd because in real life, no one talks like that.

Kaley Cuoco is an amazing-looking woman.

Looks great in anything she wears. Just a gorgeous creature.

She looks absolutely delicious in that flight attendant uniform.

Pretty believable actress as well.

My wife calls her the next Jennifer Aniston, and I concur.
