its pretty obvious this is not a work of some lone pyscho. these cyhpers are miltary grade or beyond kind of stuff. It took a 2020 computer to even try to get close to decipher one of these from 1969?? It'll take another 50 years maybe to get 50% close.

I think it wasn't just a person but a group. It was a para military type of op. some kind of social/psych experiment . Probably the 'killer' was 3 different people as that was one of the theories in the past.

Yeah, if it is ever figured out, it probably won't be one of the people who's names we know. There is a lot of speculation it is someone who was serving around Mare Island at the time.

As for Allen, while there is a lot of circumstantial evidence, the actual physical evidence recovered does not match him and seems to be exculpatory

I get it. I just think it seems like he is the most likely guy. I disagree with Ogie that the dna evidence is exculpatory - I don’t think that’s the case at all from what I’ve read. At some point the “circumstantial” evidence becomes more than coincidence and in this case it’s close.

Did anyone watch that recent documentary on FX or Hulu about that dipshit who thought his dad was the Zodiac killer? His story just got torn apart later in the series, and I almost felt bad for him by the end of it because he spent his entire life wanting it to be true.

They have DNA and the bloody print from the taxi. I would guess its like the Golden State Killer...a guy not even on the radar. Graysmith thinks he solved Jack The Ripper so I'm not very optimistic his guy is the real killer.
