Great XMAS movie. Rewatching. Probably going to be a yearly thing now.

My favorite jersey is the LA Rams Jerome Bettis one I owned in 1994. RIP.

A movie about Frankie Valli is going to be part of your Christmas tradition?

I put this on last night for the fam after dinner. It was okay. Didn't knock my socks off, though.

Couldn't get over how the guy who played Frankie Valli really didn't sound anything like him. Valli hit an octave or two higher that this guy just could not even touch.

Would have enjoyed it if they just dubbed-in the original recordings instead of going with the actors' voices for their iconic songs.

exactly! there is only one franky valli. they should have dubbed. the actor's voice was terrible. and casting of Christopher Walken as the Italian Mob Boss was pretty stupid. But overall good movie.

Always been a fan Vincent Piazza from his Boardwalk Empire days. Too bad the guy doesn't get much roles.

I agree on Lucky Luciano.

He was my fave actor in the movie.

The guy who played Valli kept smiling through his lines like he knew a camera was on him the whole time. That, and Frankie Valli never had a baby face. For having such a high voice, he had a very tough-looking face, kinda like a Sly Stallone lookalike (or vice versa, of course), which made his high-reaching headbellows have all the more gravity, in my opinion.

The Valli actor was terrible. I am not sure if this was the guy in the broadway show. it must have been or he knows someone in hollywood. he was awful.

The real Franki has an old face. In this video he's only 40 but looks like 55 :

He looked much better in his 70s when he played Rusty in The Sopranos.

Strange, I looked at Piazza's filmography and guy hasn't done much since BE.

Weird, because he comes off to me as a pretty good actor - a good narrator anyhow.

I was highly surprised that he is 44 years old, though. He looks at least 10 years younger. I wonder who he pissed off in Pedo-Wood. Maybe it is just as simple as he refused to suck the right cocks to get ahead.

yes he does look much much younger than his actual age.

After BE, i thought this guy would be a huge star. Not sure what happened but would not be surprised at what you said where he isnt going to sell out to pedoWood. Even with MeToo the shit they do there won't stop.

Read about Shirley Temple. She had a chance to be a big star after her child star career was over ONLY if she slept with some old big time hollywood producer geezer.

In her memoir “Child Star,” actress Shirley Temple claimed that an MGM producer known to have an “adventuresome casting couch” unzipped his trousers and exposed himself to her during their first meeting in 1940. She was 12. Being innocent of male anatomy, she responded with nervous laughter and he threw her out of his office.

Great move by Shirley laughing at this cock. Probably sank her career but she gained a whole lot of respect from everyone else.
