That preview for season 3 is awesome.

Can't wait to see Johnny and Daniel fuse their dojos and battle against Kreese in the next All Valley Tournament.

Was Johnny getting married near the end of the trailer?

You guys can continue to roast me on this one, but that 2nd season was horrible. A shame, because I love the basis of the series and I was all in on Team Johnny.

I accidentally watched the last ep of season 2 first, and it made me not want to watch the entire 2nd season, so I didn't.

And its a shame because gritty realism was always the foundation the franchise was built upon

S3 already looks totally rad. i would love it if it drops on NYD, for that weekend. it sounds like that's what they're implying...i just don't want it to be on like 1/21 or some shit.

My wife complained and rolled her eyes through all of season 2....she just watched the Season 3 trailer and said we're watching it
yes, it looked like S3 will be better than 2.

I thought I was but I guess I'm sucked back in

If you liked season's 1 and 2, you'll like 3. I watched it, enjoyed some of the nostalgia. I didn't expect much from the plot and it certainly delivered no plot. Just keep switching the kids from one side to the other, rinse, repeat.

Loved season 3. Enjoyed the back story on Kreese. Definitely sets up nicely for season 4

Im in part 4.

SPOILERS

damn, the japanese girl from the old karate kid movies did not age well at all. The actors who play LaRusso and Jonny Lawrence still have a youthful look but she looks like she's an old woman.

so far really loving it!

Yeah, season 3 was terrific. Can't wait for the return of Terry Silver in season 4!

once again, this show is the most consistently entertaining thing i've watched in a long time. yes, it's predictable and formulaic. but it's by design. the storytelling is fantastic.

teasing ali as much as they did, it didn't disappoint when she showed up. chozen and komiko also provided some great stuff, everything in japan was awesome in daniel's storyline. for johnny's, his rehabilitating miguel was really touching.

zabka really deserves some awards love. golden globes are coming up. just because this show is superficial doesn't mean it doesn't have strong performances after all.

also really looking forward to season 4. there were a few weaknesses this season but it never made the show suffer.

I completely agree. It has some corny moments along the way, but it is based on a 80s film series, you have to expect that, it is part of the charm.

Zabka has done a great job. He is definitely the star of the show.

seemed like on the aftershow Macchio was acting like he was the star. Zabka was pretty cool about it and seemed not to care who gets the credit.

I like the show. It is much better than any other shit Netflix has out there.

I know that he has had a lot of health problems, but I'm not sure if that's the reason for his absence. I hope he is doing OK.

i wasn't a fan of that simply because that actor was a perfect "younger" Terry, and the guy that it really is looks *nothing* like him. that's lame.

Just started this last night and it’s significantly better than I expected.

I'm actively rooting for Johnny to beat macchio’s ass. It’s quite the face turn.

Him referencing the illegal kick to the face - which has irritated me since i saw the movie - was *chef’s kiss.

Yeah I can see that but the show has so many surprises that really aren't surprises because they were in the previews or you can see them coming a mile away I like the couple that they were able to do

it was kind of a cheap trick but it works for me

Also the answers the question that our entire generation has been asking itself for 25 years: why would a businessman like Terry silver have a ponytail?

Now we know to honor the guy that died because of him

Just wrapped up season 3. It was ok. I also liked the Kreese back story, kind of filled in a few blanks about his past and why he is the way he is. Pretty sure it will be a very short cameo appearance by Ally but found it interesting she mentioned her kids so I'd say there is an outside chance she would move back after her split and the kids could be folded into the mix. It's a really easy show to watch and it goes very quickly. I am a little surprised by all the Zabka acting love. I find him to be really awkward but maybe that is what he is going for with the character.

I am pretty sure Zabka is trying to parlay the success of Cobra Kai into a new series called “Triple Lindy”, where Chas Osborne moves back to the campus of Grand Lakes University and learns that Jason Melon is now a championship winning head diving coach, has married college sweetheart Valerie, and had 3 perfect kids. This prompts Chas to open a competing diving school specifically for disenfranchised bullies so they can reach the diving potential that eluded him, have Thorton Melon's championship dive be ruled illegal and that championship vacated, and reclaim Valerie as the one true love of his life.

I very much enjoyed all the young kids on the show too. Maybe not LaRusso's daughter as much but everyone else was really great.

i went to youtube to see some of the promo videos these kids are doing and they're only like 19/20 year old kids.

Zabka comes out looking the best IMO. he looks great for his age and still very cool. Machhio is almost 60 and looks like he's 40. The guy who plays Kreese also looks great for someone who's 74. But that actor has always had an 'old' face. I forgot he was in Rambo 2.

Its just really fun to watch. Wish they could have written a better story for Elizebeth Shue and I'd like to have her play a bigger role next season. we'll see.

I liked this video w/ Macchio on Jimmy Fallon - Fallon messes up at the end and calls him daniel larusso instead of ralph macchio at the end and catches himself. it was funny.

Hang on a sec. It came out on Jan 1, and by Jan 2 morning, you watched ALL of it?

Explain this to us. I have a hard time believin' you watched EVERY SINGLE FUCKING EPISODE in one day.
