Lots of Saints fans that I work with so today at work I'm rocking the vintage 1980's two bar Bears sweater.

Go Bears!

The Saints have sucked in the playoffs the last few years. Bears win. Everyone gets extensions. They lose by 3 touchdowns in the next round, and they go 5-11 next year.

Roquan Smith is missing the game, their pass rush sucks, and their secondary is even worse. Mooney will probably be out for the offense. Alvin Kamara will destroy us. Saints 38 Bears 19

That read like one of those Tom Waddle pregame predictions he used to do on Fox.

Also I think you’re right. Defense was pathetic last week and kamara is going to be a problem.

saints 34 bears 13. game will be earily similar to last weeks game. bears keep it close early before the defense finally gives way and the ineffective QB and offense cant score td's to respond.

I think they run the same offensive game plan they did against the Packers. It kept them in the game. The twist is to maybe try and incorporate the guy who had 100+ receptions this year.

It will be easier to incorporate him now that he's been rescued from Jaire Island

Jaire Island allowed the great Wimms to get wide open on him twice but Mitch (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky couldn't convert on either. One time that chicken wing armed goof kissed his non existent bicep as if he had anything to do with it being an incompletion.

He's been shutting down #1 wide receivers all season but sure, Wimms is the one guy in the NFL who can beat him I guess.

You mean who DID beat him.

Also, as identified during the broadcast, Alexander didn't shadow Robinson, to the surprise of the commentators. Matt Nagy shut down Robinson

Hey look, a Bears thread where a Packers player is talked about for no real reason.

The reason was to explain to dolphin why the 100+ rec guy was not involved against GB. Do simple better.

Have a three way wager here at work with some saints fools.

The three wagers are point differential, game MVP and first TD.

Looking for thoughts, but my first inkling would be:

1. 5 point differential - if the Bears win it will likely be close
2. MVP - Cairo Santos
3. First TD - Kamara

have at em'

I can't be bothered to watch this, although if I'm in my car I'll find the radio feed on XM.

That's no bueno.

If Mooney is out all they need to do is shadow AROB and focus on stopping the run. Good luck with those 4 yard Mitch passes.

The NFL announced the wild-card playoff schedule for next weekend.

The most highly anticipated scheduling decision involved the Saints-Bears game. Saints running back Alvin Kamara is on the COVID-19 reserve list with a chance to play in the wild-card round only if his team was given a Sunday game.

The Saints and Bears play at 4:40 p.m. ET on Sunday.

On Saturday, the Colts and Bills begin the postseason with a 1:05 p.m. ET game on CBS.

The Rams at Seahawks follow at 4:40 p.m. ET on Saturday on FOX.

The NFC East winner — Washington or the Giants — hosts the Bucs in the Saturday night game that kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET on NBC.

Three more games follow on Sunday.

The Ravens and Titans — a rematch from last year, only this year’s game is in Tennessee — are scheduled for 1:05 p.m. ET on ESPN/ABC on Sunday.

The Bears-Saints play the middle game.

The Browns play the Steelers for a second consecutive week with an 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff on Sunday Night Football on NBC.

Holy hell! All week and up until this very moment I thought the Bears game was Saturday at 3:30! I planned my entire day around this game being played on Saturday at 3:30! I cannot strongly express to you enough how disappointing this is.
