Possibly, but it will make the Bears game much more interesting. If the Packers beat the Bears they are the number 1 seed regardless of what happens next week. Knocking the Bears out while clinching a bye would be a sweet conclusion to the regular season. It also means the starters will all play so the Bears won’t get to coast into a playoff spot.

You sure? If Saints and GB both finish 12-4 dont they get the bye?

Last I checked Pettine didn't coach the offense and in the 2nd half yesterday they were terrible. Go score at least 10 points and this a non conversation. Also, up 28-14 over Indy at half and score 3 points in the 2nd half. 10 points against Tampa in the 1st quarter and not another point.

Now that it's clear the Chiefs and Packers are the best teams in the league heading into January I didn't want to post too many brag worthy things, selflessly foregoing all the Davante victory laps I could have taken, but this is a cool stat:

packers have a history of buckling under pressure in recent years. rodgers stays strong but his team not so much. hard to say this year, they only had one bad game, but they had a rough start and just completely melted. not a good sign for a playoff run.

chiefs have a recent history of being absolute killers under the spotlight. mahomes is insane when everything is on the line.

Rodgers makes his WRs better. That's not a crazy statement. Brady does the same thing. Manning did as well.

Guys like (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky and Cousins don't really do that. ARob might put up better numbers than Adams did if he had a HOF'er chucking passes to him.

I'm sure that's a true statement but their run D was much improved later in the season. Should be a bit better with Snacks added to the roster.
