I was out killing grandma so didn't see a minute of the game. I assume you wrote this at halftime.

It's going to be fun watching Derrick Henry run for 250 on them next week.

Possibly, but it will make the Bears game much more interesting. If the Packers beat the Bears they are the number 1 seed regardless of what happens next week. Knocking the Bears out while clinching a bye would be a sweet conclusion to the regular season. It also means the starters will all play so the Bears won’t get to coast into a playoff spot.

You sure? If Saints and GB both finish 12-4 dont they get the bye?

A lot of it's Pettine. As soon as we go up 14+ its a lock to start playing corners 10 yards off the LOS for some dumbass reason.

Last I checked Pettine didn't coach the offense and in the 2nd half yesterday they were terrible. Go score at least 10 points and this a non conversation. Also, up 28-14 over Indy at half and score 3 points in the 2nd half. 10 points against Tampa in the 1st quarter and not another point.

as I already wrote, I don't want my team's playoff strategy to include other team's resting players.

Now that it's clear the Chiefs and Packers are the best teams in the league heading into January I didn't want to post too many brag worthy things, selflessly foregoing all the Davante victory laps I could have taken, but this is a cool stat:

Quote:
Part of this is just because Rodgers is the greatest cold-weather thrower since Buddy the Elf. Rodgers has played 23 career games at Lambeau Field when the game-time temperature was 30 degrees or below; the Packers are 19-4 in those games, including a stunning 13-2 record against .500-or-better teams.

I am more confident that the Packers will win the NFC than I am that the Chiefs will win the AFC.

packers have a history of buckling under pressure in recent years. rodgers stays strong but his team not so much. hard to say this year, they only had one bad game, but they had a rough start and just completely melted. not a good sign for a playoff run.

chiefs have a recent history of being absolute killers under the spotlight. mahomes is insane when everything is on the line.

When they add the 17th game, you can add Kansas City to this list.

Rodgers
Adams
Linsley
Bakhtiari (Don't tell Dolphin)

Jaire and Zadarius were 2nd Team.

Your guy isn't a current All-Pro, has never been named to an All-Pro team and may be a second team All-Pro at best this year.

Poor RR. Let's hope the Saints beat the Bears. With Brees about to retire his team may not get another play-off game for a decade.

The Linsley vote is ridiculous as he missed almost 4 games but it only serves to highlight the invalidity of the team.

It just shows how dominant he was. Jaire not making the 1st team is what is ridiculous.

The retired OL guys on twitter seem to think the Jenkins snub is pretty glaring.

Every single one of them should give 3/4 of their award to Rogers.

One silver lining of when Rodgers retires is Green Bay will finally be allowed to have other good players according to dolphin.

Rodgers makes his WRs better. That's not a crazy statement. Brady does the same thing. Manning did as well.

Guys like (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky and Cousins don't really do that. ARob might put up better numbers than Adams did if he had a HOF'er chucking passes to him.

There’s some truth to this but you’re exaggerating it. Robinson is really good but Davante is absolute top tier elite and would be with any QB. He’s the best route runner in the league and has among the best hands. He’s great at contested catches and after the catch. He doesn’t have a weakness to his game. That’s not the QB, that’s him.

Is it your contention that Justin Jefferson would have had 1800 receiving yards as a rookie with Rodgers instead of only the 1400 he put up with Cousins?

I'm sure that's a true statement but their run D was much improved later in the season. Should be a bit better with Snacks added to the roster.
