I wouldn't use that as a barometer to judge other movies. Black Panther was clearly and obviously lauded and showered with awards because of hollywood liberal white guilt. Movie was one of the worst in the MCU.

I do, but that's not a good question to ask because I've seen them each several times recently.


For me, I judge a movie by whether or not I'm still thinking about it the next day.

Kind of? I understand the point that it’s a two parter and Endgame resolves the conflict from Infinity War, but the latter stands its own as one of the better MCU movies.

That's where I disagree...I hated Endgame not only for itself but how it undid much of the greatness of Infinity War.

15 months later but my comment was that Infinity War (the latter movie in my sentence) was a good standalone MCU movie.

Endgame kind of blew.

Couple weeks ago I was having drinks with my nerd buddy up here, and he said Endgame was his favorite MCU film.

My top 3 is probably 1. Infinity War 2. Thor Ragnarok 3. Endgame/No Way Home

I don’t think Endgame is as good as IW, but there are a lot of good payoff scenes (Cap/Mjolnir, Avengers assemble, Stark sacrifice, etc.)

Also, fat Thor is pretty great.

Endgame had some one-off moments but the time heist thing driving the plot was a lot to overcome.

Winter Soldier was probably a top 3 for me.
