I agree with most on the list but Frampton comes alieve is a good one that's missing and Ted Nugent 's double live Gonzo is missing as well.

Just picked up "Rock of Ages" by The Band last weekend. Probably not an album everyone
would enjoy but there are some great cuts on there and 28 tracks in total makes me wish I
would have been there to enjoy it, but wasn't alive New Years Eve 1972.

I also loved the nirvana MTV Unplugged CD. That was nice too.

List was crap there was a lot of stuff missing and I don't know if I would consider Jackson Browne's Running on empty a true 'live' album

Personally, I am partial to Dylan and the rolling thunder revue live in 75 (bootleg series 6) over Dylan live in 66 (bootleg series 4).

Better that than to have it be irrelevant.

[quote="Eaglo Jeff"]Iron Maiden- "Live after death"

Yes, but in retrospect, it's unbelievable how bad Bruce's singing was on this recording. I realize they were on a pretty demanding tour schedule and that will take a toll on the vocal chords.

Good thing is Bruce sounds better now then he did back then.

If you want to pull out the live Iron Maiden, I prefer the LIVE +1 stuff. Overall, I'm more of a Bruce fan than Paul, but that era of the band kicked some serious ass. Live versions of Remember Tomorrow and Phantom Of the Opera when Paul still had "it"... good stuff.

I'll have to give it a try. I think Slipknot is decent but like so many of todays other metal bands, they just sound like another version of Slayer with the dropped tuning. I know that's simplistic and old and crotcety on my part, but that's just what they sound like to me.
