thought he was better interviewing interesting guests on his national radio show than on cnn. mutual broadcast network, i believe. i believe his show would come on in chicago after blackhawk hockey. i remember he had a guy on hunting for the titanic and maybe 2 years later, they found it.

he got the best views of mary hart's legs at dodger stadium.

pre-CNN, Larry had a pretty good radio show. Certainly on the softer side, but both engaging and white noise depending on the guest and your mood. I'd listen to him a fair amount on MVP, they played part of his show after either Chet or hockey, then they'd rebroadcast Steve and Garry for the 3rd shift workers. When I started hearing the same stuff on the rebroadcast that I had heard driving to campus, that meant it was 10.5 hours and time to go home.

Yeah I was introduced to Andre through his "why would [X] do this?" meme, and have never really seen his show. Is he doing a next-level Tom Green kind of performance art bit? In the interview with King he seems to shift from being honest and out-of-character-serious to immediately being in-character-crazy saying ridiculous things (or just repeating what Larry says right back to him), and sometimes it's really hard to tell which is which. I also saw in a related video on YouTube he did the hot wing challenge show, where he appeared to be wearing the exact same shirt as in the King interview. So either he really likes wearing that shirt to do media promotion, or that was a "media day" for him, which tells me that at some point, the bit actually stops and there's a real person under there.
